Donating Old Calendars to Produce Braille Books

Bangkok University organized the project “Unused Calendars…Let Others Read On” collecting 720 old calendars donated by staff members. These were delivered to the Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the Royal Patronage of H.M. the Queen to be transformed into Braille learning materials.

Bangkok University received an excellent response to the “Unused Calendars…Let Others Read On” project, collecting a total of 720 donated calendars from staff members who united to give their unused calendars for beneficial purposes. The university delivered all calendars to the Educational Technology Center for the Blind, Foundation for the Blind in Thailand Under Royal Patronage, to be converted into Braille learning materials. These publications will be distributed to educational institutions and organizations serving visually impaired individuals nationwide, supporting access to education and information for the visually impaired community.
