TCM-DNA 2025: Igniting Career Paths in Tourism, Cruise, and MICE for First-Year Students
Opening Perspectives to Real-World Professional Experience from Industry Experts

Tourism and Cruise Management Program, School of Humanities and Tourism Management, organized the “TCM-DNA 2025” project to build identity and prepare first-year students for their academic journey and future careers in the tourism, cruise, and MICE industries. The event provided opportunities for students to learn from industry professionals alongside hands-on practice.
The project was held under the concept of “DNA of Modern Tourism and Hospitality”, aiming to cultivate knowledge, professional skills, creativity, and adaptability to changes in the digital-age tourism industry, while opening perspectives to diverse career opportunities.
The event was honored by industry experts who shared real-world experiences across multiple dimensions:

K.Anuchit Choowongwut, Production Manager from Journey Enterprise, delivered a lecture on “Cruise Industry Trends and the Role of Cruise Agencies”, helping students understand the growth of the cruise business and international career opportunities.

K.Woranat Sripen, CEO & Founder of SES Group, shared insights on “Opportunities and Directions of the MICE Industry in the Current Era”, reflecting on the continuous growth of events, conferences, and exhibitions.

K.Jirayu Limjinda from TripNiceDay, presented on “AI Tourism & Digital Trends: AI Technology and Tourism Public Relations”, enabling students to learn how to apply AI and digital technology in creating tourism media in the modern era.

Additionally, a competitive AI Poster Design activity for tourism destination promotion was held, allowing students to practice creative thinking, teamwork, and technology use in producing tourism media.

The event also featured a “Ship Bow Pin Ceremony” for first-year students — a significant rite welcoming them officially into the TCM family. The ship bow pin symbolizes pride, responsibility, discipline, and the spirit of working in the tourism and cruise industry.

TCM-DNA 2025 thus served as a vital activity helping students open their perspectives to the real world of work, learn from industry experts, and begin building their professional identity in tourism and hospitality.
