Body Typing System: The Secret Science That Will Unlock the Turning Point to Beauty

The Department of Fashion Design, Faculty of Fine Arts, organized a special lecture and activities within the course FSD322 Fashion Ethnography on the topic of “Body Typing System,” the science of classifying human body types and physiques.

The Department of Fashion Design, Faculty of Fine Arts, organized a special lecture and activities within the course FSD322 Fashion Ethnography on the topic of “Body Typing System,” the science of classifying human body types and physiques.

The department was honored to have Ajarn Chuanon Khaisiri, or Ajarn Sean, the founder and Creative Director of the POEM brand, as the guest speaker. He has compiled research data and collected information from his experience in creating outfits for clients with diverse body types, physiques, as well as specific characteristics, gestures, and individual details. This has led to the development of a specialized field of study. He shared his knowledge through the perspective of confidence in the concept of disseminating this specialized knowledge to students and interested individuals, in order to develop this body of knowledge together.

The students in the course are ready to apply this knowledge in designing their collections for this academic term.
