School of Communication Arts continues to drive education into a new dimension by announcing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Canon Marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd., aimed at elevating the curriculum and developing the potential of both students and faculty in line with the changing media industry — while producing quality graduates ready to enter the professional job market across multiple areas.

The signing ceremony was attended by Asst. Prof.Dr.Arishai Akraudom,  Dean, School of Communication Arts, and Ms. Netnarin Chanjarassuk, Senior Director of Canon Marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd., who signed the agreement together. Ajarn Tashapon Prapanont, Chairperson, Broadcasting and Streaming Media Production Department, along with Mr. Worawut Kosolkitwong, Assistant Director, and Mr. Cherdchai Chokmongkonsathien, Senior Manager, served as witnesses.

This collaboration aligns with the university’s policy framework and the Faculty of Communication Arts’ development direction, particularly for its programs in Radio, Television, and Streaming Media Production. The faculty has continuously built connections with external organizations — through joint projects, incorporating real-world briefs into coursework, and exchanging knowledge with industry experts — to ensure these efforts continue and grow into a sustainable, strategic partnership.

The signing has a key goal of building a network of communication channels for sharing news and public relations content that benefits Bangkok University staff and students, as well as external audiences, across various platforms — including supporting spaces to showcase students’ creative work through the company’s platforms.

This collaboration will also help develop students’ 21st-century skills, focusing on integrated learning to strengthen communication skills. This includes jointly developing an up-to-date communication arts curriculum, hands-on work experience with the company, and support from industry experts serving as guest speakers to share knowledge and professional experience in related courses — helping students keep pace with technology and the demands of media work, both now and in the future.

This marks another significant step for the Faculty of Communication Arts, Bangkok University, in emphasizing learning through real-world experience — preparing students and faculty with outstanding professional skills and strengthening their readiness to enter their chosen fields of work effectively.
