The Faculty of Humanities and Tourism Management and the Chinese International College have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

 

The Faculty of Humanities and Tourism Management and the Chinese International College have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Translators and Interpreters Association of Thailand to jointly develop academic and professional aspects related to the use of English, Chinese, and translation.

 

The signatories of the cooperation agreement were Jermsuda Manakul Dean, School of Humanities and Tourism Management, Dr. Nithivadee Chanyasawad Dean, Bangkok University Chinese International and Chairperson, Bachelor of Business Administration Program in International Business Management (Chinese Business) and Khun Ittaporn Phucharoen, Vice President of the Translators and Interpreters Association of Thailand, along with Khun Kittisak Thowasombat, a committee member of the association.

 

The Translators and Interpreters Association of Thailand is a professional network organization that plays a role in elevating Thai translation and interpretation standards to an international level. It focuses on promoting the development of professional knowledge and skills in various dimensions, including promoting book translation, training translators and interpreters, and organizing academic activities to support professionals in the field.

 

The objective of this collaboration is to jointly develop knowledge for students through extracurricular activities that emphasize English and Chinese language skills. This aims to prepare students for language use and to enter the professional translation and interpretation field in the future.
