Bangkok University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MoESD) of the Kingdom of Bhutan

 

Bangkok University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Education and Skills Development
(MoESD) of the Kingdom of Bhutan, marking a significant step towards fostering academic collaboration, student exchange programs, and professional skill development for Bhutanese faculty and students. Initially, the collaboration will focus on two key disciplines: Tourism and Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts and Design, both of which are areas where Bangkok University excels in developing talent and meeting the demands of the global service industry.

 

On this occasion, a delegation from Bangkok University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Somyot Wattanakamolchai, Vice President for International Affairs, together with Ms. Jermsuda Manakul, Dean of the School of Humanities and Tourism Management, and Dr. Panadda Unyapho, Director of the International Affairs Office, visited leading educational institutions in Bhutan, including the Royal Institute for Tourism and Hospitality (RITH), College of Zorig Chusum (CZC), and Jigme Singye Wangchuck (JSW) School of Law. The visit aimed to strengthen relationships and explore future collaboration opportunities.

 

This partnership marks a significant milestone in the development of international academic networks and creates valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange that will enhance the capabilities of both faculty and students, equipping them to compete at an international level.
