Respect and Professional Training Series: Training Film Students in Location Management
With ThepLo – Mr. Thanyathep Suwanmongkol, founder of the ThepLocation page and one of Thailand’s top Location Managers, sharing his experiences and telling many inspiring stories along with valuable case studies.

School of Digital Media and Cinematic Arts organized the Respect and Professional Training Series on the topic “Location Management” – If “Location” Management is Problem-Free, Drama on Set Will (Almost) Disappear.

The session featured “Theplo – Mr. Thanyathep Suwanmongkol,” founder of ThepLocation page and Thailand’s premier Location Manager, who has extensive experience managing filming locations across all regions of Thailand. He took participants on a deep dive into every dimension of location management, exchanging experiences, sharing stories, and presenting numerous excellent case studies.

As always, students showed overwhelming interest in attending this training. Everyone gained valuable knowledge, skills, and useful tips to apply in real work, particularly timely as they are in the preparation phase for creating film projects in both thesis and film production courses.

School of Digital Media and Cinematic Arts is committed to cultivating students’ awareness of the importance of filming location management, as locations involve people, communities, culture, laws, and the surrounding environment. Even minor problems can have wide-ranging impacts. Let us work together to create a film and digital media industry that is friendly to everyone.
