School of Accounting X Mango Consultant to Develop Next-Generation Accountants Through Real Business Challenges
The “Problem Based Learning: BUAC x Mango” Project Aims to Build Accounting Information System Analysis Skills for the AI Business Era

School of Accounting recognizes the importance of teaching and learning that emphasizes the use of real business problems as part of the educational experience. It firmly believes that learning from actual business challenges will help students not only grasp theoretical knowledge, but also apply it to produce tangible business outcomes — enabling students to develop practical working skills during their studies while increasing their future employment opportunities.

To this end, the School of Accounting has partnered with Mango Consultant Co., Ltd., a leading Thai-founded tech startup pioneering enterprise management software, to launch the “Problem Based Learning: BUAC x Mango” project for third-year students enrolled in AC435: Accounting Information Systems Analysis and Design. The project is advised by A.Eakkapol Inphirom, an instructor and expert in systems design.

This project represents a significant step in bridging the gap between academia and the business sector. Students were tasked with analyzing and designing accounting information systems that incorporate AI technology to enhance the operational efficiency of businesses in today’s environment, and presented their work to the company’s executives and staff.

The BUAC x Mango project focuses on equipping students with competencies across multiple areas, including the analysis and design of accounting information systems in the context of AI-era business, the selection and evaluation of suitable system development approaches for different types of businesses, as well as collaboration with industry professionals to gain a genuine understanding of real business needs. All of this aims to ensure that students acquire the essential knowledge and skills necessary to meet the demands of today’s and tomorrow’s job market.
