BUHTM Organizes “Critical Thinking & Collaboration” Activity to Prepare Students for the Aviation Industry in the Disruption Era

Building critical thinking and teamwork skills through aviation safety crisis simulations to prepare students for professional careers

Airline Business Management program, School of Humanities and Tourism Management organized a supplementary curriculum activity titled “Critical Thinking and Collaboration Enhancement for New Graduates in the Disruption Era” under the course ABM 400: Preparation for Internship in Airline Business, held at The Banquet Room, 5th Floor, Building A5, Bangkok University.

This activity was designed to prepare third-year students to develop essential skills for working in the Disruption Era, including critical thinking, collaboration, and managing under pressure. The program was supported by industry partners — Airports of Thailand PLC (AOT) and the Immigration Bureau — who shared expertise on safety standards, restricted area operations, and risk management in the aviation industry.

During the event, students participated in Problem-Based Learning (PBL) activities through the “Aviation Safety & Security Crisis Simulation” case study, practicing situation analysis, problem-solving planning, and presenting team management approaches in simulated crisis scenarios.
