BU Partners with Public and Private Sectors to Sign MoU on Tourism Workforce Development, Preparing for the Evolving Labor Market

Upskilling Tourism Personnel to Meet Industry Needs and Strengthen Thailand’s Global Competitiveness

Bangkok University, represented by  Asst.Prof.Dr.Aunya Singsangob, Vice President for Academic Affairs, took part in the signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on tourism workforce development, in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, educational institutions, government agencies, and private sector organizations. The ceremony was presided over by K.Waratheera Suwannasorn, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Tourism, who also co-signed the agreement.

This collaboration aims to enhance the development of tourism personnel in line with industry and labor market demands, through the development of up-to-date curricula and knowledge, and the building of a collaborative network among the public, education, and private sectors. It also seeks to integrate resources, technology, and innovation to cultivate a high-quality workforce, thereby strengthening the international competitiveness of Thailand’s tourism industry.
