CNM x eisa by Thaibev x SX2025: Creating Sustainability with the Power of the New Generation

Communications and New Media Department, School of Communication Arts (CNM), collaborated with the Education Institute Support Activity (eisa), an educational promotion platform in universities by Thai Beverage Public Company Limited (ThaiBev), and Sustainability Expo, the largest sustainability event in ASEAN.

Inviting Gen Z to think smartly, think differently, think creatively, create innovation for a sustainable world. Joining forces to cultivate critical thinking, creative thinking, and sustainability creation according to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), they organized the “Sustainable Innovation: Strengthening Critical and Creative Thinking” project – a sustainable innovation communication project powered by critical and creative thinking – Sustainable Innovation 2025 under course CNM101 Critical and Creative Thinking, with over 600 students participating.

Honored by the presence of Asst. Prof.Dr.Arishai Akraudom, Dean, School of Communication Arts, and Dr. Napas Panpongcharoen, Managing Director of Sustainability Expo Company Limited, who shared their vision and provided guidance to students in creating sustainable innovation communication projects powered by critical and creative thinking.

This collaboration reflects the commitment of the Faculty of Communication Arts, Bangkok University, to develop new generation communication arts professionals who are aware of the role of communication in driving society through sustainable communication concepts that combine analytical thinking, critical thinking, and creative thinking to create positive change.

The project aims for students to learn and develop communication skills, critical thinking, and creative thinking through hands-on learning in Project-Based Learning and Active Learning formats. Participating students will conceptualize and plan sustainable innovation campaigns, with mentoring teams from the Education Institute Support Activity (eisa) of Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, teams from Sustainability Expo, and faculty advisor teams jointly nurturing and advising students in creating projects for sustainability.

The project will include plan presentations and awards for student teams who create outstanding sustainable innovation plans. Project activities are scheduled from August to December 2025, with Briefing Day to receive the brief on Saturday, October 25, 2025, and Pitching Day for presentations and awards on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Room A5-501 The Banquet.

Student sustainable innovation communication plans will be further developed for presentation at Sustainability Expo in the future, creating a platform for new generation students to showcase their potential and be part of driving national-level sustainable development goals.
