Travel Guidebook for Hat Yai to Enhance Tourism Activities
Concept: Hat Yai Has More to Offer Than Fried Chicken
Hat Yai is considered one of Thailand’s most worthwhile travel destinations due to its affordable accommodations and cost of living. The city is rich in cultural and culinary diversity, offering various forms of tourism — from café hopping and nightlife to natural attractions and business travel. However, most visitors are familiar only with the city’s most popular landmarks, causing them to miss out on many authentic experiences that reflect the true essence of Hat Yai.

The Degree Project: Design of a Tourism Dictionary Book “Speaking Isaan” for Young Tourists Interested in Isaan Language and Culture
Concept: Isaan Pah Hoo (Isaan Brings Knowledge)
“Speaking Isaan” represents communication that reflects the lifestyle, culture, and joyful spirit of the people of Northeastern Thailand. It is a unique form of expression that fosters community bonds. Although some words may be misunderstood in other regions, learning the Isaan language and culture allows travelers to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the region’s charm and local way of life.

Identity Design for Surat Thani Province to Enhance the Value of Its Tourist Attractions
Concept: Hundred Wonders of Thani
Surat Thani, located in upper Southern Thailand, is renowned for its abundant natural resources and rich historical background. However, the province still lacks a distinct and recognizable identity. This project aims to create a unique provincial identity that strengthens the image of Surat Thani’s tourist attractions, making them more memorable, accessible, and relatable to both tourists and younger generations.

Design Project “The Ordinary Day in Yala” Photobook
Concept: Ordinary Yala – The Untold Story
“The Ordinary Day in Yala” is a photobook project that portrays the daily lives of people in Yala Province, showcasing the calm and peaceful aspects of the community that are often unseen by outsiders. The project aims to communicate the beauty of local life, traditions, and culture to a broader audience.
For nearly two decades, the southernmost provinces of Thailand have been associated with unrest and conflict, and Yala has long been labeled a “red zone.” Although the violence has largely subsided, many outsiders still perceive Yala through the lens of past turmoil. This project seeks to change that perception by illustrating the province’s genuine way of life and its people’s resilience.

Setthi Ban Eng Board Game Design Project to Promote Tourism in Nakhon Ratchasima Province
Concept: Ban Eng Means “Our Home” in the Korat Dialect
Nakhon Ratchasima, also known as Korat, is the largest province in Northeastern Thailand and is often referred to as “The Gateway to Isaan.” It is a paradise for travelers, offering a wide variety of tourist attractions. However, many lesser-known destinations remain undiscovered. This project uses a board game as an engaging medium to promote both popular and hidden attractions throughout the province. Setthi Ban Eng aims to raise awareness of Korat’s diverse tourism potential while fostering pride and a sense of belonging among locals.
