meaningful step in elevating the program’s educational standards and preparing students to enter the international hospitality industry with confidence.

The International Tourism and Hospitality Management (ITHM) program at the International College organized a hands-on learning activity in partnership with Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit for students enrolled in THI102 Service Quality Management.

The activity was honored by the presence of Khun Suparat Thongmeesuk, Head Mixologist from Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit, who co-presented the brief, provided guidance throughout, and awarded prizes to the winning presentation team. The course is taught by Asst. Prof.Dr.Walaiporn Rewtrakunphaiboon, lecturer in the Hotel and Tourism Department, International College.

Students were given the opportunity to visit the actual venue, participate in a workshop, and work through a case study on designing beverage service experiences and the servicescape of a Rooftop Bar. They applied service quality theories and creative thinking to develop concepts for food and beverage service experience design.

This activity reflects the strong collaboration between academia and industry in advancing teaching and learning that places students in real-world situations — building their skills in service experience design within the tourism and hospitality sector. The partnership marks a meaningful step in elevating the program’s educational standards and preparing students to enter the international hospitality industry with confidence.
