Opening up learning experiences beyond the classroom, inviting a team of experts to guide the use of “Google Gemini,” while encouraging students to apply AI to their studies and to creative work in still images and video.

Broadcasting and Streaming Media Production Department (BRS), School of Communication Arts, continues to promote learning in modern technology to strengthen students’ potential for careers in media and content production. The department partnered with Google (Thailand) to host a hands-on workshop under the theme “Learn How to Learn with Gemini.”

The event was organized to support learning beyond the standard degree plan, featuring Ms. Charunee Sinchairojkul, Education Lead for Google for Education, Google Thailand, along with her team, who shared knowledge and foundational techniques for using Google Gemini with over 600 students, giving them the chance to practice hands-on and apply what they learned to their studies and media projects.

The workshop covered the following focus areas:

  • Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI): Understanding the overview and role of AI in the field of communication arts.
  • Gemini Prompting: The fundamentals of inputting commands and techniques for crafting prompts to support creative thinking and content development.
  • Define Outcomes & Model Selection: Setting clear goals for a project and choosing the appropriate AI model to achieve them.

Toward the end of the training, Google (Thailand) opened applications and promoted the Google Student Ambassador Program, Cohort 2 — a platform for students nationwide to develop digital skills and serve as representatives driving AI adoption. In the previous cohort, students from Bangkok University were also selected to take part in the program.
