Graduate School, Bangkok University, Holds Orientation for New Graduate Students, Academic Year 2026

The Graduate School of Bangkok University organized the “New Graduate Student Orientation, Academic Year 2026” to welcome new students, both Thai and international, while preparing them before they embark on their graduate studies and fostering relationships among students, faculty, and university staff.

During the event, new students had the opportunity to meet program directors, program faculty members, senior students, and alumni from each program. They also received information on teaching and learning approaches, study planning, as well as the university’s educational services and support systems. The event also gave students the chance to exchange opinions and ask questions about studying and university life.

The atmosphere throughout the event was warm and creative. Assistant Professor Dr. Anya Singsa-ngob, Vice President for Academic Affairs, gave the honor of welcoming the new students, sharing ideas and perspectives on graduate-level learning to help students prepare to develop their potential and build on their knowledge for their future careers.

Assistant Professor Dr. Sasiprapa Panthanasewee, Dean of the Graduate School, welcomed the new students and introduced the direction of learning, educational support services, and various facilities of the university, so that students could live, learn, and develop themselves to their fullest potential.

In addition, Dr. Supat Rattanasuksan, Director of the International Center, provided information on visa services, as well as activities and opportunities within the university open for international students to join according to their interests, to promote a diverse learning experience and build connections with the international community.

Another highlight of the event was the “Voices of Inspiration: Stories That Connect” segment, which opened a space for student representatives to share their stories, inspiration, and experiences from their career and learning journeys, aiming to inspire and connect the diverse experiences of members of the BU community. Three student representatives shared their stories:

Mr. Kittipat Jinathong from Verse Media Technology Student of the Master of Communication Arts Program in Brand Management and Strategic Communication (MCA-SBC), and recipient of the Network Partnership Scholarship

Ms. Kannanthon Kot Deechanoncharoen, entrepreneur of the “I’ll Drink Iced Tea Every Day” brand and other brands under Better Beam Food Co., Ltd., student of the Master of Management Program in Entrepreneurship and Emerging Business (MM-ENTREP & EE), and recipient of the Young Achiever Scholarship

Mr. Peat Phanthufak from Thai Nam Thip Corporation Public Company Limited Student of the Doctor of Communication Arts Program in Brand Management and Strategic Communication (DCA-SBC), and recipient of the Network Partnership Scholarship

This new graduate student orientation was therefore not only the starting point of the graduate study journey, but also an important opportunity to build networks, broaden perspectives, exchange experiences, and connect people from diverse backgrounds into Bangkok University’s learning community.

Because at BU, learning does not end in the classroom, but is about discovering the BU DNA through experience, hands-on action, and learning together with others — growing together to “create value and build toward sustainability,” on the path of education, career, and life alike.
